Muddle Jewellery Care

Both sterling silver and silver plated can be oxidised by the air to form a tarnish.

There are ways to minimise this and keep your jewellery in good condition.

Jewellery tarnishes more when its not being worn, so to ensure minimum exposure to the air and humidity, store the item in a resealable plastic bag or a jewellery box.
Avoid contact with perfume, hairspray, soaps, creams and deodorants by putting your jewellery on after getting ready, not before.

Store each piece of jewellery separately to avoid tangles and scratches.

The special jewellery that I make is using a plastic, that I print onto, hand cut the pieces out and apply heat. Then I add a few coats of two different types of varnish to ensure the finished piece is durable and to some extent waterproof. (Although I advise not to wear the jewellery in the bath, shower, sea or swimming pool!)
I’ve spent months mastering this technique and making sure the pieces are long lasting.
I’m almost certain I’ve worn the battle.

In the unlikely and unfortunate event that something happens to the image on your jewellery, please contact me as soon as possible - explaining how it happened and I will replace the item for you.
